Annalisa Ureña, seventh grade student at Family of Christ Christian School, is making a huge impact on children with autism and being recognized on so many levels!  At 12 years old, Ureña has already invented a teddy bear to prevent SIDS, a shirt with a GPS sensor that helps visually impaired people find their way to locations, and most recently invented an app to help autistic kids.  Annalisa proudly represented Bright Young Minds Coalition and the state of Florida at the National Invention Convention and Entrepreneurship Expo in Washington D.C. this past summer where she took 3rd place in the sixth grade category for her Creative Minds App!  Here is a look at her interview with Channel 10 News highlighting her Creative Minds App invention.
